Salary: $33.50- $33.50
SUMMARY
The most senior level of electrician, capable of troubleshooting and repairing the most complex electrical problems to include heavy equipment repair and high voltage work. Provide safeguarding of persons and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity. Shall repair and maintain the total electrical distribution systems in his assigned area of any company facility which may include, but not limited to, circuit breakers, fuses, lighting systems, power distribution feeders, branch circuits which serve electrical equipment, control circuits, etc., which are related to the facility either inside or outside the building.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and make repairs, as necessary to the electrical system, to maintain the integrity of the system. Responsible for repairs to heavy equipment. Capable of performing high voltage electrical repairs. Assist refrigeration and maintenance technicians, as requested from Supervisor. Contract the Supervisor with any major electrical problems, or conditions, which may become major problems, or hazardous conditions. Inspect facilities for safety related electrical issues and make repairs. Notify supervisor, if of a major concern, or faulty conditions, exist. Provide emergency services for on call weekend schedules and assist with other emergency calls, as directed by the Supervisor. Wire new/relocated equipment as directed by Supervisor. Order and pick up materials and/or parts as needed to complete work and communicate with Supervisor of purchases, for approval. Report any problems or concerns to your Supervisor, in a timely manner, as not to create a hazard condition. Follow any pertinent company policies and/or procedures, such as, filling out work orders, worksheets, time sheets, punching in and out, and equipment transfers. Maintain shop equipment. Notify Supervisor where there may be a delay in ordering parts, to complete a job, or a project. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid Driver’s License. Must be 21 years of age. Must submit to DL Monitoring. Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Working knowledge of electrical theory, practices and techniques of the electrical trade. Working knowledge of applicable standards and electrical code regulations. Ability to read circuit diagrams, architectural blueprints, and generator and motor control diagrams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Licensed electrician.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services’ total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
