SUMMARY

Performs basic clerical duties such as copying data, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting, distributing mail, and other incidental clerical duties.  Works under close supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine clerical assignments in accordance with established procedures and under specific instructions.
  • Proof and record data from various sources.
  • Perform elementary mathematical calculations.
  • Answer telephone inquiries, deliver messages, sort and distribute company mail.
  • Prepare departmental mailings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory performance reviews.

Strong communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. 

1+ years of related experience.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services’ total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
