This Merchandising Internship is located in the Center Store Merchandising Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Survey 130+ Price Chopper/Market 32 stores to provide an accurate view of pallet locations within each store. Helping to improve the writing of the store planning.
Understand and communicate planogram knowledge and their execution to stores.
Assist with weekly display plan execution – determining how much product can be shipped to the stores
Utilize Excel to organize and analyze financial metrics, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
Work on a vendor price list that provides our top trade partners with an accurate view of all items used in a merchandising plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong Analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A solid work ethic and good attendance.
The ability to work both in a team and as an individual without needing constant guidance and supervision.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate juniors/seniors, post-undergraduate, or graduate/MBA students preferred.
Major: Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, etc. preferred.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services’ total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
